Grandma’s Cottage is an original nostalgic landscape oil painting inspired by the warmth and familiarity of childhood memories in the countryside.
Three children and their little dog make their way along the cobbled path as evening falls, while Grandma watches from behind the stone wall. Washing hangs on the line, smoke rises from the cottage chimney and the sky glows with soft oranges and purples.
I wanted the scene to feel like a memory you could step into — warm, lived-in and full of the small everyday details that often stay with us the longest.
