Morning News is an original nostalgic figurative oil painting capturing a quiet everyday moment from a slower-paced time.
A man stands reading his newspaper beside a small newsstand while his dog waits patiently at his feet. A vintage blue car and softly painted figures in the background help give the scene a timeless, familiar feeling.
I used rich reds alongside softer, muted colours to bring warmth to the morning light. I wanted the painting to celebrate those ordinary routines that can become memorable simply because we stop and notice them.
