Eilean Donan Castle is an original Scottish landscape oil painting featuring the famous Highland castle surrounded by water and mountains.
I wanted to capture the dramatic setting that makes Eilean Donan one of Scotland’s most recognisable castles, with the building sitting within the much larger Highland landscape around it.
Scottish landscapes are an important part of my work, and I particularly enjoy subjects like this where history, architecture and scenery come together.
