Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is an original Mary Poppins-inspired London oil painting based on the idea of the famous chalk drawing scene.
In the story, Mary and Bert enter the chalk drawing and find themselves in a colourful imaginary world. For my version, I wanted to take that idea and place the characters within a more modern London setting.
I particularly enjoyed combining the fantasy and nostalgia of the original scene with recognisable elements of London to create my own interpretation.
